Cambridge Digital Champions try out DAREED

The DAREED platform was included in training for Cambridge City homes Digital Champions, as part of a session on energy-saving online tools.

The Digital Champions are volunteers who are being trained to set up Internet clubs for local people in different areas across Cambridge City. The clubs aim to help to promote social inclusion and address financial inequalities caused by digital exclusion.

The Digital Champions learnt how to register on the DAREED platform and use the Awareness tool to compare their energy consumption and get recommendations on how to save energy and money. Through the Digital Champions and their Internet clubs, the platform will be promoted to more citizens in Cambridge, who can benefit from the service.
